The Bersarinplatz in the district Berlin-Friedrichshain Berlin is characterized by its roundabout and the star-shaped branching roads in the surrounding residential areas that have been built here and partly in the early days and partly in the postwar period. Architecturally unique to Berlin is the development at Frankfurter Tor and this passing of Karl-Marx-Allee. It was here that the reconstruction after the second World War Boulevard in the architectural style of the Socialist Classicism also called gingerbread style
