Castle Trausnitz in the city of Landshut in the state of Bavaria. The castle is located on a hill - the court mountain - in the south of the historic city centre. It is surrounded by forest and the garden, the former castle park. The compound was first built in the 12th century and refurbished and renamed in the 16th century. Later there were baroque adaptions. Today, it is home to the Wunderkammer, a part of the Bavarian National Museum
