The Louis Church in the suburb of Old Saarbrücken is an evangelical church in the Baroque style. It is the landmark of the city and is considered one of the most important Protestant baroque churches in Germany. The Louis Church and the surrounding space was designed by Ludwig Friedrich Joachim Stengel on behalf of Prince William Henry of Nassau-Saarbrücken as "total artwork" in the sense of a baroque place royale.
