The lake Ziegelsee in the urban area of Schwerin in the state of Mecklenburg-Vorpommern. The lake is part of the EU bird protection area "Schweriner Seen" and is partly listed as a nature park and protected area. It is used for boating, shipping and watersports. Next to it is the bigger Schweriner Außensee (Outer Lake)
