The university town of Passau in the state of Bavaria. Because of the junction of the rivers Ilz, Inn and Danube, Passau is also called "Three Rivers Town". Visible here is the pointed peninsula, which is surrounded by the Inn to the South and the Danube to the North. It is the site of the cathedral St. Stephan. The river Ilz joins the other two by running through the Untersolden part of the town
