The town hall and the tower Perlachturm in the inner city of Augsburg in the state of Bavaria. The complex is located in the historic city center of Augsburg on the square Rathausplatz which is also home to the fountain Augustusbrunnen, one of three fountains on Maximilian street. The tower, 70m high, was originally built as a watch tower. The city hall is landmark of the city and was built from 1615 onwards. It includes a museum and the restaurant "Ratskeller"
