Nordhausen in Thuringia is a town on the southern edge of the Harz. In a drawn-green stripes, the river runs Zorge. Some attractions like the Cathedral Holy Cross, the St. Blasius Church and the Petri Tower of the historic old town, which was largely destroyed in the second world war are still preserved.
