The Hiddensee includes the island and its eastern offshore island and one from 2005 to the Official West Ruegen. Hiddensee is the largest island of the National Park Boddenlandscape. On the island there are two nature reserves, the NSG Dünenheide between Neuendorf and Vitte and the NSG Dornbusch in the north
