Stralsund 13.8.06 Der größte und bedeutendste Sakralbau der Stadt Stralsund wurde um 1270 begonnen und 1360 beendet. Die Kirche ist der erste Nachfolgebau der Lübecker Marienkirche. Die Turmspitzen brannten 1662 ab. Fünf Jahre später erhielt der Südturm den barocken Helm, der Nordturm das noch heute vorhandene Notdach.
