Look at the Erdgas sports parkl, a football stadium that was opened in 2011. It was built on theground of the old Kurt Wabbel stadium that was demolished in summer 2010. The exterior wall and the arches of the historic stadium are landmarked so that the new stadium had to retain those. The costs of around € 17 million was shared by the town and the state of Saxony-Anhalt. The new stadium has a capacity of 15 057 seats and stands.
