Im Wüstenklima von Arizona hat die US Air Force außer Dienst gestellte Flugzeuge eingemottet. Sie warten auf den Abbruch oder zum Teil auch auf die Reaktivierung. Unter den Flugzeugen sind F14 Tomcat, RF4 Phantom, C-141 Starlifter, C130 Herkules, B52 Bomber und B1 Schwenkflügelbomber. Das Areal liegt unmittelbar neben der Davis-Monthan Air Force Base und ist dem Air Force Materiel Command (AFMC) der US-Luftwaffe untergeordnet.
