18.10.2005 Friedeburg; Die Ortschaft Friedeburg ist mit ca. 2.933 Einwohnern die größte Ortschaft der Gemeinde und Sitz der Verwaltung. 625 Schüler werden im Sekundarbereich I in der Schule „Altes Amt Friedeburg“ (Ganztagsschule) in Friedeburg unterrichtet unterteilt in Haupt und Realschule.
