Die Lehnitzschleuse stellt ein wichtiges Bauwerk des Oder-Havel-Kanals dar. Sie wurde im Jahre 1936 erbaut und ist mit einer nutzbaren Größe von 134 m Länge, 12 m Breite und einer Fallhöhe von 5,65 m die größte Schleuse in der Umgebung.
