Die Kirche St. Alban der Gemeinde Effelder im Landkreis Eichsfeld in Thüringen mit ihrem für die Gegend charakteristischen Kupferdach wurde 1892 vom Franziskaner Paschalis Gratze erbaut. Ihr 56 Meter hoher Turm ragt als Landmarke weit über das Umfeld der Gemeinde hinaus. Die römisch - katholische dreischiffige Hallenkirche im neugotischen Stil wird aufgrund ihres Gesamteindrucks auch als Eichsfelder Dom bezeichnet. Church St. Alban of municipality Effelder in borough Eichsfeld in Thuringia with its characteristic copper roof was built by Franciscan Paschalis Gratze in 1892. Its 56 metres high tower is a landmark. The Roman Catholic three-aisled hall church in neo-Gothic style is also called Eichsfelder Dom.
