Die eng bebaute Groß St. Martin ist eine von zwölf großen romanischen Kirchen, der Kölner Innenstadt. Die Kirche, mit den vier Ecktürmchen, wurde während des Zweiten Weltkriegs stark beschädigt. Erst 1985 wurden die Restaurierungsarbeiten abgeschlossen. Seit 2009 steht die Klosterkirche Groß St. Martin wieder Gläubigen und Besuchern offen. The tightly constructed Groß St. Martin is one of the great twelve Romanesque churches, Cologne's inner city. In 1985 the restoration work was completed. Since 2009, the monastery church of Gross St. Martin is once again open to believers and visitors.
