Das Schloss Basedow liegt in der Gemeinde Basedow im Südwesten des Landkreises Demmin in Mecklenburg-Vorpommern, direkt am Malchiner See. Es ist eine der bedeutendsten Schlossanlagen Mecklenburg-Vorpommerns und stellt sich heute als unregelmäßige Dreiflügelanlage mit umgebendem Landschaftspark mit einer Gesamtfläche von ca. 200 Hektar dar.
