Das Railway Scientific & Technical Centre Warsaw / Centrum Naukowo Techniczne Kolejnictwa ist vom Eisenbahn - Bundesamt als Prüfstelle für eisenbahntypische Prüfungen an Schinenfahrzeugen anerkannt. Auf dem Gelände werden sowohl neue Erungenschaften getestet als auch technische Überprüfungen an Wagons vorgenommen. Außerdem werden die neuen Konstruktionen auf dem eigenen Schienennetz getestet. The Scientific & Technical Centre Warsaw / Centrum Naukowo Techniczne Kolejnictwa is recognized by the Eisenbahn Bundesamt as a test centre for railway constructions and railway technical checks. The Centre checks wagons but also constructs and developes new techniques. The centre owns testing tracks.
