Blick auf die Wilhelm - Förster - Sternwarte in Schöneberg Berlin. Im Oktober 1947 wurde dann das Wilhelm - Förster - Institut gegründet. Dieses Institut ging in den WFS e.V. über, welcher den Bau des neuen Gebäudes für die Sternwarte anregte. Im Januar 1963 eröffnete sie. Die Warte besteht aus einer 11 Meter Kuppel, sowie einer 5 Meter Kuppel und vermittelt interessierten Besuchern astronomische Kenntnisse.
