Blick auf den stillgelegten Militärflugplatz Hanau. Der auch Fliegerhorst genannte Flugplatz wurde von der US-Luftwaffe genutzt, daher kommt auch die Abkürzung AAF (American Air Force). Der Flugplatz verfügt über eine Landebahn von 920 m und dient heute zivilen Zwecken. Die Brüder-Grimm-Stadt Hanau liegt im Osten des Rhein-Main-Gebiets an der Mündung der Kinzig in den Main.
