Blick auf die Stadt Frohburg. Frohburg ist eine Kleinstadt im Landkreis Leipziger Land. Die ersten Hinweise stammen aus dem 10. Jh. Um 1233 wird Frohburg zum ersten mal als Stadt erwähnt. Erst 1831 wird sie offiziell als Stadt anerkannt. Heute gehören die Orte Benndorf, Bubendorf, Eschefeld, Frauendorf, Greifenhain, Nenkersdorf, Roda, Schönau, Streitwald dazu. Bekannt ist Frohburg seit 1960 als Motorradrennstadt. Im Zentrum steht die 1233 erbaute St. Michaelis Kirche.
