Blick auf den Pölzig-Bau, dem ehemaligen IG-Farben Haus. Der Pölzig - Bau wurde von dem Archiekten Hans Poelzig entworfen. Es diente als Hauptsitz der IG-Farben AG und war nach dem 2. Weltkrieg das Hauptquartier des Oberbefehlshabers der US Armee in Deutschland und des 5. US Korps.Nach Kriegsende zog die amerikanische Militärverwaltung dort ein. Seit 2001 beherbergt das Gebäude einen Teil der Johann Wolfgang Goethe-Universität Frankfurt am Main. View of the Pölzig-building, the former IG Farben building. The complex was designed by Hans Poelzig Archiekten. It served as the headquarters of IG Farben AG and was after the second World War, the headquarters of the Comman der of the U.S. Army in Germany and the fifth U.S. Corps. After the war drew to an American military administration there. Since 2001, the building houses a part of the Johann Wolfgang Goethe-University Frankfurt am Main.
