Blick auf die neuen Terminals der Cargolux Airlines International S.A. (kurz: Cargolux) am Flughafen Luxemburg. Cargolux wurde 1970 als Frachtfluggesellschaft in Luxemburg gegründet. Seit den Anfangstagen, als mit einer Canadair CL-44 weltweite Frachtcharter geflogen wurden, hat sich Cargolux zur siebtgrössten Frachtfluggesellschaft der Welt und zur größten Nurfrachtfluggesellschaft Europas entwickelt. Mit einer Flotte von 15 B747-400 Frachtern erreicht die Gesellschaft im Jahr einen Umsatz von rund 1,5 Millarden US Dollar. Cargolux war der weltweit erste Betreiber der Boeing B 747 - 400F
