Blick auf die Kreisstadt des Landkreises Märkisch-Oderland. Seelow liegt am Westrand des Oderbruchs, an der Bundesstraße 1 und ist etwa 70 km von Berlin und 20 km von der polnischen Grenze entfernt. Mit auf dem Bild ist die restaurierte und 1997 / 1998 durch den Wiederaufbau ihres Turmes komplettierte klassizistische Stadtkirche, erbaut 1830 bis 1832, ein Werk des Architekten Karl Friedrich Schinkel.
