Blick auf Konstanz am Bodensee. Konstanz ist die größte Stadt am Bodensee und Kreisstadt des Landkreises Konstanz. Seit 1. April 1956 ist Konstanz eine Große Kreisstadt und bildet ein Oberzentrum innerhalb der Region Hochrhein-Bodensee im Regierungsbezirk Freiburg im Bundesland Baden-Württemberg. In Konstanz sind zwei Hochschulen ansässig, die Universität Konstanz und die Hochschule Konstanz Technik, Wirtschaft und Gestaltung. Die Geschichte des Ortes reicht bis in römische Zeit zurück.
