Das ummauerte Gelände der Anstalt des geschlossenen Vollzugs im Industriegebiet Stadtheide beträgt ca. 3,4 ha;
hierzu kommen noch ca. 1,5 ha für die im Jahre 2000 errichtete Ballspielhalle und einen vorgesehenen Sportplatz außerhalb der derzeitigen Umfassungsmauer.
