August 2009 fanden in Berlin das weltgrößte Sportevent des Jahres 2009 statt - die Leichtathletik Weltmeisterschaft. Rund 1.800 Top-Athleten aus den 213 Mitgliedsverbänden des Weltverbandes IAAF treten im Kampf um die Medaillen in 47 Disziplinen im Berliner Olympiastadion an.
