Blick auf die Baustelle der Mehrzweck-Sporthalle am Olympia-Stützpunkt Luftschiffhafen im Südwesten Potsdams. Die Landeshauptstadt baut im Rahmen des Konjunkturpaket II mit ihrer stadteigene Unternehmensholding Pro Potsdam die 17 Millionen Euro teuren Mehrzweckhalle. Künftig werden dort maximal 2700 Zuschauer auch internationale Sportwettkämpfe verfolgen können. Im Stützpunkt trainieren unter an deren die Fußballerinnen des FFC Turbine Potsdam sowie die zur Weltspitze zählenden Kanuten des OSC Potsdam. Bislang fehlte in der Stadt eine wettkampftaugliche Halle. Die Bauausführung erfolgt durch die ANES Bauausführungen Berlin GmbH.
