Baustelle des neue Steinkohlekraftwerk Datteln / Castrop-Rauxel im Ruhrgebiet am Dortmund-Ems-Kanal. Der Kraftwerksneubau ist auch bekannt als EON Datteln 4. Datteln 4 geht 2012 als Monoblockanlage mit einer Bruttoleistung von 1.100 MW in Betrieb und ersetzt die Blöcke 1 bis 3 in Datteln und Shamrock in Herne, die ihr technisch-wirtschaftliches Laufzeitende erreichen werden.
