Auf dem Gelände des ehemaligen Braunkohle Tagebaus Espenhain in Sachsen enstanden der Störmthaler See und die Magdeborner Halbinsel, auf der unter an derem das Highfield-Festival stattfindet. Der ehemalige Tagebau wurde am 13. September 2003 geflutet. The former opencast mining Espenhain in Saxony turned into a lake and a peninsula called Magdeborner Halbinsel on which fastivals take place. It is situated near Großpoesna.
